They also use the standard UK single mattress and add a range of useful components underneath. Many of our midi cabin beds are available in a variety of colours, so you can choose the one that fits the room of your child most. Some take it even further than this and include a range of bespoke storage units. The Luna low-line loft bed, also known as a midi-storage bed is compact, and comes with everything you need. A ladder that is able to be rotated and a desk with wheels that slides in and out, and three drawer cabinets and a chest are all included. Some midi loft beds that have storage have the desk already integrated into the bunk (as shown in the image above) and others, like our Luna midi bunk have the ladder set on the right hand side, so that the desk can be put to the left (please inquire in store, by phone, or in the comments section when checking out in case this is important to you).
It's important to note that many midi loft beds with desk require a standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with a wooden slatted base. The cost of the bed does not include the mattress. We recommend looking at our mattress deals to find one that is within your budget.

Mattress
Most midi beds are fitted with standard UK single mattresses and the top bunk comes with a security rail for extra security. Some models include a fabulous pull out trundle drawer for sleepovers or additional storage space beneath the bed. These can either be open or fitted with doors (please check the product's specifications for full information).
Many midi cabins include a desk that can be moved from one level to the next, or chests. This provides children with a unique space to store all their belongings, and that there's no need to take precious floor space with bulky wardrobes or shelving units.
Some models have gone one step beyond with cabinets that are flush mounted or even a part of the headboard or footboard. This is ideal for storing books and toys.
